Lets get rid of those bulky things still lurking around the home. FREE Junk Car removal available to residents

For a "Clean and Green" community, residents are encouraged to rid their yards of junk vehicles. The City has arranged with a number of licensed hulk haulers to pick up junk vehicles in Tukwila AT NO CHARGE to property owners. (They may even pay you something!) Swim Suit Donations - Help Is Needed

Hello – Your help is needed.

As the new school session approaches for the High School Swim class, donations are needed for suits.

Community support is needed, I know the school board is reaching out, but we’re all in this together and your donations would go a long way.

Unfortunately, not all kids in our area can afford suits, thus, in order to get more kids in the pool and kids learning to swim, lets help remove that barrier.

Tukwila Village Phase 2 submitted to City

The developer has submitted the design review application for phase 2. This is the phase on the south side of 144th and includes two buildings, office space for the Senior Housing Assistance Group headquarters, and the City’s police neighborhood resource center.

BAR approves Phase I Tukwila Village

On Tuesday, the Board of Architecture Review held a special meeting and approved the design for the first phase of Tukwila Village. This includes a building that will have 80 apartments, 4 live/work units, and 8,000 square feet for restaurant and/or retail. This phase also includes a plaza with a commons building. Effective today, Monday, September 16, 2013, the number for Tukwila citizens to dial for non-emergency situations is 206-241-2121.

This number is to be used to report incidents such as parking complaints or crimes that happened some time ago where the suspect is gone in addition to other non-urgent issues.

Please still call 911 in any of these circumstances:

There is an opening on Tukwila's Planning Commission/Board of Architectural Review. If you know of someone who might be interested in serving, information is available at:
