Busy News Day for Tukwila - City of Opportunity, Community of Choice

Just saw this...
Guess an opportunity was spotted:

Someone trying to steal an ATM smashed a minivan into the Family Fun Center in Tukwila Wednesday morning.

It happened around 6:30 a.m. Tukwila police say the driver pulled away some planters in front of the entrance, then drove through the front door.

The driver rammed the ATM with the minivan, but was unable to get away with it.

Police arrived quickly and the suspect ran off, leaving the minivan and other evidence behind.
“The Fun Center has an excellent video surveillance system, which will also help,” said police spokesman Mike Murphy.

No description of the suspect was immediately released.
Police say the minivan is likely stolen. Damage to the fun center is estimated in the thousands of dollars, including a smashed door and skid marks on the floor.
Police say there wasn’t much money in the ATM.
The center was expected to be open, as usual, at noon.
