Huskies Rowing Team Sweeps in Pac 12 Championship

The California Bears and Washington Huskies have an historic rivalry. Huskies were rated #2 in nation with Cal rated #1. A month or two ago, Cal came to Seattle for the Windemere Cup and beat the Huskies handily.

Different story in Sacramento this past weekend. Huskies won varsity, 2nd and 3rd varsity. The varsity obviously won the PAC 12 championship.

Not to be outdone, the women varsity is ranked #1 in the country. And, yes, they too won the PAC 12 championship.

The IRA National Rowing event comes up in a couple of weeks. Great teams on the east coast as well. Should be fun.

Let us not forget the true reason for a University. The superiority of my Husky education can be measured in many ways. Cougars talk only about their teams, since their academics have nothing to offer.

I am proud I received an education from world-class professors. I learned to milk a cow from my grandmother, and didn't need to go to an Agricultural Academy to learn those tasks in life I will never be called upon to perform.

WOOHOO!! As a Husky Mom this makes me proud. As a former rower it's quite impressive. Thanks for posting this Chuck!
